Unfortunately, far too many people here are totally blinded by the dooming. We can either keep dooming, or take action to protect our republic.

I'm a cynical person. It's difficult to not doom.
In my defense, reality isn't all hope and optimism.
Sometimes the reality is doom and irrational optimism isn't the answer.
