We can be violent. Who told you violence is wrong or does not solve anything? Defending your life, your family, your nation, or your beliefs has often required violence. Violence is simply force applied destructively. The stigma comes from the fact that it is evil that always necessitates violence. Good men can live without the necessity of violence, but no one can live at peace with evil. Evil makes violence inevitable. Either evil will force violence to end it's oppression or evil will bring violence against you to secure it's oppression.
For the religious types, Jesus Christ used violence at least twice in the Bible. He used a whip to drive the money changes out of the temple, which where I'm from constitutes felionious assault punishable by 4 years in prison. He also told Peter to sell his cloak and to purchase a dagger so that he could cut the ear of the roman soldier, which constitutes both conspiracy to commit and aiding and abetting the commission of assault with intent to do great bodily harmless less than murder, felonies punishable by 10 years in prison. He would also be subject to prosecution as a second felony habitual offender in light of his prior conviction for using the whip in the temple. If he was truly without sin as religious people claim, that would suggest that all violence certainly is not bad and that it is actually sanctioned by God himself.
It’s demonic possession. Seriously, look at these people’s mugshots. :(
