Wasnt Parler only supposed to be down for a couple days? Also why dont they rent a 5 dollar a month digital ocean server, point DNS to it and just put up a temporary page that says Amazon sucks, be back soon?

Could be but if thats the case the CEO shouldnt have said they would be back in a couple days. Might work against their court case.
Seems like it proves the harm even more.
Meaning it caused them way more harm than they initially anticipated... hmm good point. I thought his estimate of two days was very optimistic.
