You capture dangerous animals by making them comfortable, luring them in a cage with bait and then close the doors.
At first they will frantically start to panic, some jump, some hiss or lash out through the bars. But after a while they understand they have been trapped and go into a more submissive state towards their capturer. If you provide them any opportunity to escape they will immediately run for it.
