Though Poland is part of the stinking EU and therefore at least some of its jurisdiction.

Why not Russia?

Poland has been butting heads with EU over every thing that matters for years now.

It might still be worth to have a russian backup just in case tho', even if we hate them

Poland will be overthrown by a color revolution in the next 4 years, but it's still in good shape now.
