They don't want to do the hard spiritual work of humbling themselves to God, and accepting His grace and His plan for their lives. They want a Prius, so they can simulate virtue.
They don't want to rebuild the economy from the ground up, investing in small businesses, manufacturing, infrastructure, agriculture and energy. Those are icky low class jobs. They want to buy a latte from Starbucks and sip it while they microblog on their Macbooks.
They're lazy, they're cynical, and they're posers.
