I haven't been on anybody's payroll for 11 years, but I can't imagine that going to your HR department and changing your withholding choices to "pay no taxes" would go over very well.
And I'm a big believer in "Starve the Beast", but you're correct about the impracticality.
That said, the same people who print our money also control the IMF. Sound money went out the door long ago and I haven't seen a bond vigilante in more than a decade.
