Their agenda is to "repair USA's reputation in the world, which as been spoilt by Trump" (in their own words) and one of the key ways they plan to do that is by bringing in all the muslims and refugees fleeing syria, africa etc , thus getting a good name and goodwill.. same thing that EU tried and as a result quite a few countries there have a problem now.
