I'm starting to accept the fact that my wife is an NPC. I mentioned the other day that Trump was banned from twitter and she said "good!" No concern for Big Tech having the amount of control they do.
Just this morning she was telling our kids how important it was to wear masks. I jokingly said no, they just want to see how far they can push us. She gave me an annoyed look.
In our 10 years together, I can't remember her having an opinion outside of the mainstream. Seeing society being brainwashed is bad enough without having to see it in your own home.
My entire family is extreme liberal. It’s absolutely sad and toxic. I’m not allowed to speak Trump’s name. I’ve been told to go on and die. To lower my moral compass, when I spoke about Islamic extremism they called me a fucking bully. We are no longer speaking at all and I have moved out. I feel your pain.
Good for you, you don't need those people in your life. They are toxic and will try to tear you down. You are much better off without them.

If you want friends, you have to mostly think like them, unless you have exceptionally enlightened friends considering the times we find ourselves in.

Your not alone! I am with you, and there are many like us. Its OK to let your family believe what they want and not argue with them if it keeps your relationship going. That is if they are people you want a relation ship with for things other than political discussion.
