"On and off the based track" is the exact type of cult circus she's talking about. I don't agree with many of her views but she articulates her reasons for having them and doesn't follow the hivemind of "I support X therefore I must support Y and Z".

She is the definition of an independent thinker and therefore is painted by the media as crazy.
