I don't understand why SalesForce is big as it is. It's fucking wild.

They're a CRM. And a shitty one at that. Their UI is trash, they nickel and dime for fucking EVERYTHING and they're insane expensive.

My previous work used SFDC. It cost almost 8000 dollars for a SINGLE USER LICENSE. Oh, and you don't even own the software. It all goes to their cloud. You don't even own the data! Your companies data. Extremely sensitive data. The company doesn't own it. You don't even get to store the data on your servers. You HAVE to store it on SalesForce servers. Because that's not fucking dangerous. AT ALL. Shit, they're probably scraping that data and selling it. How SFDC gets away with this? I don't know. They need a microscope under them though. Their business practices are predatory as fuck

Oracle has always been shit. They're moving to Texas, but it's like, all they're going to do is take their bullshit and infect Texas with it. Who do you think destroyed California? It was the companies like Oracle, Apple, SalesForce, Enphase, HP. They had the money to influence and they destroyed the state. Just like they're going to do to Texas.

If Texas had brains, they'd kick them the fuck out and purge Austin of this cancer.

I'm hoping after amazon banning parler people will realize the dangers of keeping your information on the cloud. You have no rights, aws or azure can tell you to get fucked and cancel your service at anytime. I'm hoping this makes companies go back to having their servers on premises. Its crazy that our government uses aws and azure, they cant be trusted. AWS and Azure will probably use the governments data to blackmail them lol. The government could have easily went with hpe and just built a private cloud. I don't think there's any coming back from public cloud though. Self driving cars, 5g, factory automation etc will all generate massive amounts of data in the future and will likely require public cloud as only hyperscalers will be able to keep up with the massive infrastructure required.

Texas should just tell all the tech transplants form Cali that they aren't allowed to vote.
