Amazon started with books. They purchased the books from the big distributors. There were minimum orders. Amazon found books that were backordered and ordered tons of the backordered books to get the books they needed at the lowest price, then cancelled the backordered books, and did it over and over and over until the distributors wised up but by then it was too late. They literally built their business by fucking over other businesses from the start. Payback is a bitch. Time for payback.
Anybody remember ... Waldenbooks... or Barnes&Noble BDalton Borders..? and the smaller stores they gobbled and starved out. Only Amazon props and weird little indie sellers that had cafes survived the Amazon monster gobbling up the little monsters
