I'm 60. I can code circles around every young guy. I've been coding for 45 years and my website won't consist of 20,000 lines of functional spaghetti code!

most of the young coders are just script kitties copy and pasting code that was written by some one else. I doubt that many under 40 could write code when given the limitations you were given 40 years ago when you had to do an original program.....my dad was an engineer he never took another programing class after he tripped and dropped the punch cards he was using to program. My dad also at one point was a board changer for Univac computer . the young have no idea what an old code writer like you can do

Some of them, yeah. But "website" is a complicated thing now, especially if you want a commerce backend. Easy to find someone to CSS up a page, but doing eCommerce, that takes some serious skills these days. With the assaults online these days by scammers and hackers, not a job I'd want to tackle without some serious experience.
