SO MUCH THIS! I AM AN AMAZON SELLER. my amazon sells 4-5x what my website does. We want your business. We dont't want to share with our evil overlords at Amazon, but they are the busiest market in ecommerce... so can't really avoid that.
I'm looking into Walmart Marketplace. I don't sell anything yet but could take advantage of starting in an area with less competition and users but otherwise just as good as Prime.
I have sold on Walmart and pulled out. Its terrible. No customer message center. Walmart employees will refund orders without notifying you if the customer calls and claims its late. Or anything else they want to say even without a return. I got scammed by many buyers there and barely made a profit overall. Wasn't worth the labor.
