Also lots of tools are more expensive on Amazon than they are at Home Depot (fuck Lowe’s they sck) or manufactures. I also order items individually just to be a PITA.
Customer Service in store and over the phone. Needed to correct a delivery time that got changed from the online time when they emailed me. Called for 3 days. Multiple times each day. Let phone ring until call got dropped. Tried calling all departments. Same thing. Tried 2 other stores. Same thing. During this I called Home Depot to see what happened. Got through quickly a few times. Got through slowly a few times but always got through. When my freezer was delivered I mentioned to the guys installing it about my problem contacting Lowe’s. They laughed and said if they or a customer have an issue with an appliance during delivery/installation they can’t even contact the store.
Home Depot had real competition from Lowe’s when Lowe’s came on the scene. In my work I was hitting HD every day or so and switched to Lowe’s because HD had gotten complacent. Things have flipped.
