The install was fast and clean. Duck Duck Go is the default search engine. I imported my bookmarks from firefox without issue. Even my .win account info transferred without a problem. Did I mention fuck firefox?

Can someone riddle me this? I installed Dissenter and it looks for all the world like a Chrome skin. Like if you click settings it's actually Chrome. It runs chrome extensions. It also says "Dissenter is made available to you under the Mozilla Public License 2.0" So, Mozilla? I'm really confused. I don't want to be a shit about it, but how is this any better?
It runs on Chromium. It's like the source from Chrome. So all the googley crap is stripped. Many browsers run on Chromium now. I get your point though.
I see. If it's open source code and has no connection to Google then I'm all for it but my eyes bugged out when I clicked on Preferences. Thank you!
It is indeed open source. I was wary of Chromium for a while due to its origins; but people would have dug something up by now if it were crooked in some way.
Yeah but i don't think it has any real connections with Mozilla. It's open source. But someone with more knowledge maybe could answer this. Fuck Mozilla.
