You have to have money to sue. Usually 10k retainer just to sit down with someone decent.

A teacher once got fired after being caught by the police with a dead person in his car, evidence on hand was that he murdered her. Police suspected and then later proved he was a serial killer. But the superintendent fired him before he was convicted of murder so the district lost the wrongful termination suite. Hope that this teacher gets a decent payout and reinstated!
