I keep trying to tell ppl how crappy the results are on google (and even ddg now), and it’s like no one remembers the pre-search algorithm internet, where it’d return actual results rather than repeating the same 10 results which make the search engine the most money for at least the first 5 pages. Then the next 10 pages are all of the results not even tangentially related to your search, which make the engine the most money.
I don't know what the first one I was on... but it had a cassette as well (in school). First at home hardware was a Tandy Color Computer II. Had no clue what I was doing, but I could hand jam that BASIC code in and make a "Navajo Blanket" like a champ (I was like... 8)
Wait, that still exists?!?!?! man, next you'll say to use Altavista! haha old pede!
