It doesn't make sense from "democratic reform" standpoint because there clearly aren't enough politicians on our side with the guts or will to reform this broken system. Whatever pressure or leverage we could put on the politicians was clearly a waste of time...they evacuated the area and came back to finish their dirty work late in the AM hours from my understanding. Those that wanted to kick off a revolution were retards, because the best way for that would be for Trump to try to call in loyal troops and lead the effort himself. Until he's out of office, we don't lead any sort of physical invasions. And taking the capitol would be one of the last things a resistance effort would do, not the very first thing.
From a revolutionary standpoint it makes a lot of sense. Similar to how the muslim terrorists always wanted to provoke the west to escalate things and unite their supporters, the wild, scared and overreaching response from the uniparty is going to cement support for our cause and red pill many fence sitters. At this point voting is clearly a waste of time, other than to punish and kill the GOP and to allow the Democrats one party rule. Tyrannical one party rule is actually what we want at this point. The curtain is pulled back, more and more realize that democracy has utterly failed us, and it will hasten a peaceful secession or a violent civil war. We don't want to wait decades more to realize firm and decisive action is required to combat this tyranny. As Patrick Henry said "they say we are too weak, but shall we be stronger as the opposition moves to weaken us and tighten its grip in the coming years" - paraphrase :)
The coming conflict will be for all the marbles, either win and reform the government completely, or lose, and live under tyranny for many decades as did the Russians after the Bolshevik Revolution. But the next steps are not for most of us. Members of the reform movement that are still living in Mayberry, and only think about working within a rigged system, are mostly useless to us, as they are senile/insane and perfectly fit the definition of insanity - "doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results." As this is probably heading to violence, our women are also mostly useless to us, as they are shit fighters. Our older military veterans are very useful, as teachers and military decision makers. It's only about 10-15 percent of our people that fall within the category of physically capable male, not living in Mayberry, and willing to die for the cause. But, the existing professional military will probably break for us, if not split in half in their support. Even if they don't help us that much, we can still be successful. However, unless we have the hardware and numbers, any resistance would never be fought using conventional warfare, it would be vietnam style "drag it out long time and bring them to the table." So it's almost a certainty we can achieve our aims if we have the will. The South could have easily won the Civil War had they used the same unrestricted warfare tactics employed by the north.
Anyway, imo things are proceeding how they need to go. Trump and others saying stand down are correct. The next steps are for people with organizational abilities, knowledge and training above most of us. We just have to wait and see what leadership and organization materializes, should Trump bow out softly (as it currently appears). If none materializes, then just keep your head down and live your life as best you can.
