I wouldn't say he rolled over easily. Look at all the shit he was put through. There aren't many world leaders in history (especially modern history) who had to endure more. He is human and not a God. That being said, I don't like the speeches he has given recently regarding the capitol. Nor the narrative that we "stormed" the capitol. There is plenty of evidence of people being led in and of provocateurs. This was planned but not by Trump supporters. Hopefully Trump will pursue massive litigation in the coming year. It's probably the best chance he has of taking some of these assholes down at this point. He could maybe do more for those who were there on the 6th but his options have gotten pretty limited at this point.
