Ok I am puzzled by this whole thing. A foreign attack would involve missiles, IEDs, and the like. An M-4 carbine like the guard have are useless against those types of weapons.
Now we know Joe will speak from Delaware, so why aren’t they all up there? And the National Mall is closed so only a handful of politicians will actually be at the capital. 20,000 or more soldiers are not needed to protect such a small number of people.
Trump supporters won’t be in DC, even if egged on by Antifa like January 6th. So they cannot be there to prevent Trump from staging a coup.
