People I know that died were overweight and had other issues. I've know several people that were otherwise healthy and got over it easily.

My wife's in a rather large pregnancy group, she said 45+ people have posted that they've had it (a.k.a. "tested positive"), everyone came through fine with no lost baby's so far (Lord willing), and the common thread: felt like the flu.
