...they don't need to. People need to get off the "round us up" thing. They literally don't have to. They kill out the middle class, oppress white people ( who are by a large margin the group most positive about things like the first and second amendment) by social policy, and then as the dollar gets weaker and weaker so do you. A gun ban and taxes on ammunition/ Ban importation will make it almost impossible to practice or have ammo. Over time, you'll die and your kids/grandkids will hand your guns over because they don't want to go to jail and have been indoctrinated to loathe them.
It's a generational thing. If you make the culture toxic to guns, make shooting too expensive, and make the red tape too ridiculous; the culture will die out with subsequent generations then they'll have no problem getting rid of them
