My heart breaks when I see the narrative of violence being pushed. This was the most peaceful mass gathering of people in the history of humanity.

I was there. We hung out at the Capitol for an hour and then went home because it was cold and windy. It was maybe the most beautiful moment of my life. Never felt so proud to be an American before.

I agree 100%. I left around 530, because I knew what to say just say it’s a unlawful assembly, people start going to jail! I wasn’t willing to go to jail that day, and yes it was cold! I too thought it was one of the best days of my entire life I’ve I’ve never been more proud to be an American, I stand with you!

You're trying to make sense of it, but the whole point of the "violence", "terrorist", "white supremacist" rhetoric is solely designed to suppress the movement, peaceful or not. Even a peaceful movement is a grave threat to their power. It is all propaganda to demoralize you and to turn others against you.

27
ThisIsHowItStarts 27 points ago +27 / -0

I am not demoralized, I don’t give a fucking rats ass what anybody thinks about me. That’s where you’re wrong kiddo! I have zero fucks left to give! I don’t care what anybody thinks! I haven’t for quite some time now! You see - demoralization only works if somebody else cares about what you think about them. Fear of Covid only works if you’re in fear for your life and you think you’re gonna die every time you walk out of your house! I don’t care if I die. I know where I’m going when I die, so it’s not a big deal to me! I’m not afraid of China virus, I’m not even afraid of what other people think about me, I continue to stand my ground! Nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever change that! You should try it sometime! The fact of the matter is this, no matter what happened that day, people are paying attention now aren’t they! Whether it’s a good press, or bad press, they’re paying attention now! A GIANT VOICE!

More people get into fights and die at those EDM "Carnival" raves every year than this!

Tiesto killed more people than Trump!

BidenTouch 1 point ago +2 / -1

Well, then it kind of backfired ...did you see those chickens clucking and running! OMG! I saw less than 100 individuals that went inside, and the entire Congress was shitting themselves!

...there were over 1 million patriots there that day and it was (I think) our smallest DC rally do far! Imagine if everyone brought their guns and had a single focused plan!

Shit! We can roll them anytime we want!

ME TO. TRUMP IS A LEGENDARY MAN.

I walked to McDonald's, got a covfefe and a large fries, and went back to the Holiday Inn. Best day ever.

I'm tired of the Jan 6 rally being labelled as a "riot" while "antifa"/"blm's" Summer of Terror is continuously labelled as "peaceful protests." Nazicrats incited violence in the public forum and it's "all good" but Trump is an "insurrectionist" for telling his people to "go home in peace."

Especially in China, the minute that three gorges dam breaks, it’s over for them completely!

THIS IS THE ISSUE. THE COASTS TREAT THE FLYOVER STATES LIKE THEY DO NOT MATTER.

4
WhitePowerRanger 4 points ago +4 / -0

They literally call them “flyover states”. How disrespectful can you be. That’s like calling your town a “drive thru city”

No. Get facts straight.

Patriots followed velvet ropes straight into the building, invited by DC Police. That isn't "illegally breaking in."

Who "threatened to kidnap and/or kill" anybody? Regurgitating what MSM spews doesn't count.

1
BingusCombat 1 point ago +2 / -1

I think the police escalated it. If they let them march in, to the public building, nothing would have happened. They started attacking people who were just walking forward.

They burn whole cities out and they say nothing, its beyond ridiculous

HockeyMom4Trump 16 points ago +18 / -2

Minnesotan here. Can confirm. Minneapolis looked (and still does) like a warzone. Mass destruction of buildings. Fires. Looting. Graffiti. Assault. For them to call it peaceful protesting is simply false. So many stores were looted, not in the name of George Floyd, but in the name of greed and wanting free stuff.

9
worldofsmut 9 points ago +10 / -1

That would be a good article. Minnesota or Portland, six months after the riots versus The Capitol, six days later....

3
mcdeath 3 points ago +4 / -1

:( The Capitol is currently getting surrounded by fencing and razor wire...

2
Lady2021liberty 2 points ago +2 / -0

I live in Portland its absolutely ridiculous that they are allowing this to continue.

4
RegularAmerican 4 points ago +6 / -2

That's so sad. Get out of there hockeymom. Your family deserves better. I'm leaving Los Angeles county ASAP. Considering wyoming

2
preparation-H 2 points ago +2 / -0

Maybe they're not in Minneapolis. There are lots of great places to live in MN, and Minneapolis/St. Paul is where everyone in the area goes to get their city fix.

2
HockeyMom4Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

We are in the process of planning our exit strategy. It is a challenge as our son is a high school hockey player and we need to move somewhere he will be able to continue to pursue his passion. But yes, we are definitely planning to move. It is sad, but Minneapolis is probably lost.

The only un-peaceful part was Antifa infiltrators. There's nothing about the MSM that's remotely believable, nor our "duly elected" officials pushing these same lies. Traitors.
