I keep seeing this and it is a bad take. I'm someone who tried to get steam behind an Insurrection Act outcry even though I'm a nobody and I know it's a bad take.
.
The Insurrection Act was only in play before Jan 6th. Because biden is now constitutionally the President-Elect the congress who did nothing to stop the steal would snap into action so fast to stop Trump it would amaze you have quick and efficient they can be when they want.
.
Also, now we know that no one is loyal to President Trump in the White House because Mike Pence himself fucked us over. So if Mike Pence didn't step up then do you think the Cheifs of staff/ Military top officials are going to step up? No they won't. Donald Trump can not just Invoke the Insurrection Act and then all of a sudden everyone goes along with it he actually needs people to enforce it and work with him. Our guy has been all alone in there fren.

Ok so that's what I'm saying fren lol think about that whole list you made why do you think the military is any different? Especially after Trump ruined their never ending war racket. I know people like to think the military is a right wing supporting entity but that is a generalization. The top brass is not right leaning they are establishment leaning.

Second in command is secretary of defense not state, and the Joint Chiefs already published a memo on Tuesday making their position clear (it's not with Trump). It's true that the foot soldiers are super pro-Trump but it's been made clear to them after Jan 6 that they face court-martial if they take action. We can't exactly ask them to risk that while obeying all this advice to stay home to avoid falling into antifa traps.

The military overwhelmingly voted Trump

But not at the General rank.

Pompeo said that two months ago. In interviews just yesterday talked about President Biden and transition.

The military is apolitical. It doesn't prefer Democrats, it doesn't prefer Republicans. It's leaders appreciate clear, rational decision makers.

The military's oath is to the Constitution, not the president. Individual military members are trained to refuse orders that are unlawful/immoral/unethical.

Military brass wouldn't even tell Trump how many troops we had on the ground overseas. Consider that.

What would Lincoln do in the face of insurrection?

He'd do shit like turn off habeas corpus, and put journalists and seditious conspiratorial legislators in jail.

He’s been all alone in the spot light. His dangerous frens are the frens you don’t see. I’m feeling very good about this. Hang in there, reality is about to tell a better story than fiction.

I said something must be invoked before Jan 6.

But all the bozos on here are saying that the only Constitionally significant date is Jan 20.
