A few articles came out today around this and if you read in the abc article it says:

Another by USA today says this about the same subject:
two sources familiar with his plans said on the condition of anonymity to discuss details not yet announced.
So take it with a grain of salt, we know how much the media likes their "familiar but anonymous sources". Fox probably just basing it off of one of these articles. A big game of my friend's, friend, told me an anonymous source...
24 hour rule. Look at the last Wednesday. Remember how everyone was blaming Trump's supporters? Totally false, and the facts are coming out and arrests are being made. Cnn was in on it.
True but they weren't saying "anonymous sources" and such and it was confirmed that he would be there. Sometimes there are granules of truth littered in their propaganda.

MSM was on point about his Alamo, TX speech. Said it was nothing more than a talk about the border and a farewell speech.
