Trump is the top law enforcement official in the land. It's actually not the AG and it is on Trump to make sure they are doing their jobs or he has to replace them.

That's been my biggest bitch with the last 4 years. People who subvert him, cross him or fail to follow his directive are not dealt with swiftly. In the weeks leading up to the election, he kept tweeting about the fraud stories coming out all over the country and then complaining about the DOJ or FBI not doing anything. It was on him to use the power of the federal government to insure a federal election was not defrauded.
