Second in command is secretary of defense not state, and the Joint Chiefs already published a memo on Tuesday making their position clear (it's not with Trump). It's true that the foot soldiers are super pro-Trump but it's been made clear to them after Jan 6 that they face court-martial if they take action. We can't exactly ask them to risk that while obeying all this advice to stay home to avoid falling into antifa traps.

Their position is "with" The Constitution and to protect it from enemies both foreign and domestic.

If they are in possession of evidence of both foreign interference with our election and treasonous collusion they are mandated by oath to do something about it. They are not required to telegraph what that is, either.

I believe with all of my intellect Trump won the election handily. What else is happening is beyond my grasp - but I won't doubt Trump until he actually, truly loses.
