When people say things like "Trump needs to do XYZ", do they literally expect him to do that action, or realistically delegate it to someone else.
I'm pretty sure a LOT of what happened was because his direct orders/commands were being ignored left right and centre. What he had to deal with was insanity and... I think he accomplished a lot despite it all. We're much better informed than every before - despite the media.
I know I'm far more pissed off than every before and lots of normies in my life are leaning far more RIGHT than they used to.
Trump's greatest accomplishment as President was to put a wrench in the programming. Today, more than half the country doesn't believe a word the media says. It's going to be hard for them to move forward against the tide and even trusted Republican sources were sacrificed trying to get at Trump and his supporters. I'm not saying it's over because we always had a long road ahead but I am saying the enemy has lost half its power over people.
I don't know if we could have done much better, to be honest. 15 years ago I didn't think what we accomplished was even possible. Trump brought me back into the political system. If it's business as usual, I'll disappear again into my life.

Even if Trump goes tomorrow and accomplished nothing else, that would be his greatest achievement - millions of young people are now seeing the shit for what it really is, millions of old boomers are realising they have been lied to all along. Hell, even Bernie bros are asking questions about DNC primaries which no one even dared to do a year ago.
You should read more into history and concepts like overton window. These things are extremely hard to pull off, and not usually accomplished in the space of 4 years. Countries have fought for independence for decades. Berlin wall lasted 30 years, despite massive opposition to it. This is no less than American conservatives fight for their independence.
Right wing, conservatives in the USA were sleeping for decades, voting in corrupt self serving goons, and this is the first time in years they are even realising whats going on in the country, becoming politically awake. Only when you know what's wrong can you even start to change it.
