I don’t know too much about 5G but my gut is to not trust it. People label others who talk about 5G “conspiracy theorists” but is it really so hard for people to understand that something like 5G and even just phones and stuff in general can have an effect on people that we don’t know too much about?

Don't need to be a conspiracy theoricist to know not to stand next to powerful radio transmitting equipment

It's non-ionizing. I agree that more research is needed before a full roll out.

I can say that from a background in undergrad physics, there is no threat from 5G. The conspiracy theories, whether realized or not, fear of 5G is more founded in the hardware being developed is tied very closely with China. If Chinese hardware were allowed to infiltrate the network, it would provide hostile actors the ability to have very high bandwidth real-time access to any device in the system.

My read is that it will pave the way to further exclude national threats from 5G development, ie Fuck China.

I'm not big into the 5G conspiracy, It's safe from all I've read on it's scientific background. It's just a major step on the United States keeping the bleeding edge on the civilization tech tree :)
