Safari keeps adding the Facebook icon to “recently visited” sites. I have deleted the icon twice. I haven’t visited FB for at least two weeks. Keeps appearing.

Get a VPN with built-in blockers.
I heard that Apple did an update this week. It must be true because I havent been able to send email in several months, and now all of a sudden I can send email from my ipad. No changes on my part either and I didnt do an update because I keep wifi turned off
Go to the website data in the advanced settings for safari and delete the Facebook stuff. While you are in there take a look at all the .gov sites that have data there. Sites you never visited collecting your data.
