This Sunday I will be going to my first church service in 4 years. I'm a combat veteran, and watching the decline of our country has filled me with hate. I hope coming back to God and submitting to his leadership will fix the hatred that I have. The hatred was fine when I was fighting in Sangin, and Gamshir. But now I need gods guidence to bring me back from the brink. I need God to guide me on how to fight for my country with the shield of God in front of me. Pray for me please.

Start with the four gospels (Matthew Mark Luke and John) and work through the New Testament.
Theres a spiritual war going on. Gospel is this; God is holy, we are not. We sinned against him and the wages of sin is death. Christ payed for our sins in full with his death on the cross and defeated death when he rose from the grave.
Because of his perfect life and his resurrection we now have forgiveness through him to all who believe in what he’s done. Repent and believe.
