This Sunday I will be going to my first church service in 4 years. I'm a combat veteran, and watching the decline of our country has filled me with hate. I hope coming back to God and submitting to his leadership will fix the hatred that I have. The hatred was fine when I was fighting in Sangin, and Gamshir. But now I need gods guidence to bring me back from the brink. I need God to guide me on how to fight for my country with the shield of God in front of me. Pray for me please.

If I had a local pastor or, heck, even a priest that wasn't more worried about sucking that government teat. I would say the same. All of them around me are whitewashing the Word of God so as not to disturb the status quo by cherry picking verses and interpreting them to say what suits them in the moment without giving context. It is really depressing to watch. So, my family and I are looking online for leadership that reads the Word for what it says, not what what they want it to say.
