The fucker would fly to fucking China and teach Chinese scientists at Chinese universities then go right back to his cheif scientist job at NASA lol.

151
codesherpa 151 points ago +151 / -0

That's some next level spy craft right there. "I'm off to China with all your secrets, cya in a week". NASA - "sounds good, cya in a week Meyya".

138
halcyondream 138 points ago +139 / -1

The US Government openly gave them secrets, helping them launch into space when their rockets couldn't even leave the ground.

https://www.nytimes.com/1999/05/11/world/clinton-approves-technology-transfer-to-china.html

Now they're developing weapons that can take out our satellites.

We've had traitor regimes for decades in this country. From top down; traitors.

In 1997 or 1998, 2 agents from Dept. of Commerce visited my small software company in suburb of Philly. They had driven 3 hours from their Staten Island office. I still have their business cards.

In the middle of our meeting, I asked the senior agent, 'What about the Loral case?" (Loral's CEO Bernie Schwartz had given jet rides and $600,000 to Clinton 1996 campaign), and had consulted with Chynah to help launch their satellites into orbit). Duh - getting into orbit is first half of BALLISTIC missile trajectory!!!!

The agent looked down at the table, averting my eyes, and grimly said, "The White House took the agents off the Loral case."

Thanks for your service!

1
GoldwaterVoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

I wasn't in the military, if that's what you imply. I wasn't able to do much. but I have told this story many times and posted it several times here and CTH, etc. when the topic comes up. And tell it to every Clinton lover I ever talk to.

1
Worldtraveler0405 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, I was implying your duty as an American citizen and patriot. Being the head of a software company ... I can imagine you're making a nice living for yourself. So, what's keeping you from making more? That's what I mean with "thank you" for not allowing the potential of power and greed take advantage of you.

Continue spreading the word about Loral.

1
GoldwaterVoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks! I am long retired at almost 78. As my name states, I cast my first vote in 1964 for Senator Goldwater. But still ski the Rockies and tutor math.

I was a FORTRAN programmer in 1965 on Surveyor Lunar Lander, worked at Collins Radio on Project Corona (our 1st spy satellite) and started writing UNIX device drivers in C language in 1978.

People think that China just took the tech recently. It's been happening for a long time already. Trump just brought it to light.

People, it takes two to tango.

This is why NASA was singing the bullshit global warming narrative too. For those of you that didn't make a perfect score on your sat the first time he's not the only spy at NASA or DARPA or you pick the agency.

Now for bright spot of Hopium I'm not a stable genius and I'm not president of the United States. But this would make me go to war, I wonder how our President feels. GETOUS is the right man at exactly the right place in exactly the right time.

Some NASA employees do have clearances.

7
Aoikaze2000 7 points ago +7 / -0

NASA hasn't been doing anything really interesting for a very, very long time now. Space Shuttle was the last big thing they did... but there's not much else that's NASA tech.

SpaceX, however, has a lot to fear from Chinese nationals.

2
TonyGucciano 2 points ago +3 / -1

Thats crazy I bet they all have clearances

1
DrBJTester 1 point ago +1 / -0

They do. Besides the tech Chyna desperately needed wasn't always tippy top secret. It was just classified and there are lots of people at NASA that have those kind of clearances.

19
Imransgarage 19 points ago +19 / -0

Spying on movies vs spying in real life.

The more you do the easier it gets apparently when the whole government is in on it.

2
Jimmyprawns 2 points ago +2 / -0

No spycraft required. The US is perhaps the most 'permissive environment' in the world in that regard. We damn near actively recruited him and begged him to give shit away.

Why else do you think NASA pushes "climate change" lies 24/7/365?

62
ColonelTravis 62 points ago +62 / -0

More than that, NASA selectively edited climate data, to push global warming.

26
knightofday 26 points ago +26 / -0

100% fact

15
Thiswillbeintheexam 15 points ago +15 / -0

This is why I no longer trust the "accepted science" on climate change. While I am personally pro-environment.

These are people making claims that rely on trust. Why would they EVER publish false, or insufficiently analysed data? Just don't publish until the numbers are quadruple-checked.

On a topic this critical, there should be no shenanigans. It's (supposedly) just too important, yet, there they are, falsifying data.

11

10
GoldwaterVoter 10 points ago +10 / -0

I scanned LOTS of the East Anglia climate model code that was leaked. I was a FORTRAN programmer on the Surveyor Lunar Lander project back in 1960's.

The code had LOTS of sections with comments of: "insert fudge factor here".

Fukin' fun and games -- and trillions of $$$ to extort.

28
Carnasty 28 points ago +29 / -1

Yep, such a god damn shame. I used to work in a factory, and every time we got new tech, they'd always fly in from China to steal the intellectual property and the processes involved. Fucking disgusting that we don't just STOP dealing with China.

In violation of the terms of his employment and relevant laws and regulations, Meyyappan failed to disclose participation in a Chinese government recruitment program, and subsequently lied about it to NASA investigators, FBI agents, and our Office. Now, having admitted his crime, Meyyappan awaits sentencing.”

The spying is fine. The collaborating with communist China is allowed.

The only charge is lying to federal agents who lie to President Trump?

charged with one count of making false statements

.

They guard the entrance with scary dudes with weapons and sunglasses, but the enemy is already inside.

Dr. Meyya Meyyappan is chief scientist for Exploration Technology at NASA’s Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley.

Celebrate his acheivements:

received Outstanding Recognition Award from the NASA Office of Education

He is certainly getting some publicity and recognition right now.

.

India-born Nasa scientist pleads guilty to lying about China ties

https://www.scmp.com/news/asia/article/3117648/india-born-nasa-scientist-pleads-guilty-lying-about-china-ties

Prosecutors said Meyyappan, originally from Tamil Nadu, joined Nasa in 1996 and has since 2006 been chief scientist for exploration technology at its Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley.

The same time China bought Bill Clinton an election.

The truth: Virtually all Chinese working in top level positions, are Chinese spies. Even the ones born in America.

1
Siteless_Vagrant 1 point ago +1 / -0

Russia runs the same shit. Sneak spies in through porous undefended border, with fake ID's, set them up to blend in with Americans, get close to agents/ politicians, spy, raise kids, recruit kids, natural born Soviet spies. Clean history, access to everything.

It would take a lot of convincing that any chynese person in any important academic or professional environment is not a chynese spy.

I see two types of chynese immigrants here. Those who can flee the communist dictatorship and those sent by the communist dictatorship to spy on America.
