Unfortunate for me I never got to experience Reagan as President .... but I guess Trump is what comes closest. Wondering how we got to him in the first place .... On the basis of your 60-year experience, do you have any insightful information?
Actually 64 years!!!! I wore an "I Like Ike" button to 8th grade in 1956 -- I had Read his "Crusade in Europe" the year before)
Trump was first non-political, non-military candidate-- the first trained and experienced CEO to run the biggest administration in the world. -- spoke refreshing truth to the people about abuses of NAFTA (1st since Perot, whom I voted for), abuses of NATO partners, abuses of Chynah trade and WTO, opioid epidemic, and outrage of mass illegal immigration and sanctuary policies -- all hurting American citizens and especially American workers.
My main issue since 2000 has been illegal immigration. As soon as I heard Trump on illegal aliens I signed up to volunteer.
Thanks! I will read up on "Crusade in Europe". I have seen Reagan's farewell address on January 11th 1989, it's out on YT and it's very inspirational and true ... including about the troubles Western society faces today ... in terms of identity, norms and values.
Call me crazy, but I somehow think Trump was also installed by the US Military. E.g. explaining the small margin win in WI, PA and MI (between 12k and 43k votes) ... just enough to secure a solid Electoral College win. You know, Obama, Clinton and else not blowing the lid ... for knowing they've been using the voting machine scam for years e.g. looking at Georgia now (supposed 11k vote difference) which they kinda had to in preventing what is coming.
Knowing the US Military might have needed a "legal" precedent to set in action what is about to come ... and that coming from Trump in 2017.
