With the influx of CA and NY residents (liberals) we need to take steps now (probably already a little late) to legislate that our state is not turned.
Major cities are already blue and we were down on votes for President Trump by 100k votes this time.
We NEED to take legislative steps to neutralize left agendas. If California can pass tax laws on people leaving and the wealthy, then we can pass equally innovative ways to keep us RED.

Implement mandatory gun ownership as a state level law.
If you move to Texas, ownership required within 30 days. Phased in; lower population areas almost immediately then everywhere over a couple of years. Time will be needed to let the supply chain catch up.
Enforcement: Monthly fines for non-compliance to be put into a pool to provide low interest loans for any one demonstrating a need for financial assistance. You can't vote in local and state elections.
Allowable exceptions for those legally unable to possess under State Law, and for those with a genuine and demonstrable personal objection to owning any weapon. [Double fines for lying about this.]
Anyone too blue for this won't move into any state with this law.

If CA can make legislation to tax people 4% who have over $400k in assets (any and all type) for leaving and continue to tax them for 10 years, then we should be able to cook up some kind of creative legislation to ensure our state stays INDEPENDENT!

I am strongly considering moving to Texas. My wife is coming around to the idea. The problem is that I have 3 houses in MD and a business here. I don’t really have marketable skills backed by a degree so I would need to rely on starting a new business quickly enough to pay our bills. I have 5 kids. I was raised in Pensyltucky, PA. If I could sort out the income portion I’d be moving soon.
Don't forget about the caravans on the way here that will decimate the southern states.
We gotta declare some kind of sanctuary state and go back to being the republic of texas. Unfortunately undoing the media hypnosis is our best bet. Clamping down on immigration. Paper voting statewide. With all the people moving g here we may gain a couple seats. Gotta make those seats red. Louie Gohmert, muh rep, has been keeping his nose on trumps side like it should be. Dont trust him but he's on the trump agenda. Be nice to make a law that you have to have residency in the state for 5 years before voting. And you have to have a concealed carry to vote.
