My buddy in the Airforce is surrounded by illiterate teenagers in Montana and any time I present him some news or what have you, he is completely oblivious to the news. Hell he sent me back a fucking lefty meme of Ashli Babbit on the 8th... Didn't even know SS shot an AF vet. FFS he told me hes not even allowed to speak of Trump or politics in general. Tf?! Military is funny af. You can be illiterate and belligerent, get drunk underage and sneak hoes on base but cant put your hands in your pockets and cant talk about your president. The military will deny you positions based on your social profiling but let complete fucking pork rinds in. I'm with you in hoping all is well, but I ain't expecting shit from anyone at this point. Can we trust a military that takes identity politics onto itself? Can you trust a bunch of guys that will listen to their leader to a fault? I understand dissent is death but being that the rank and file has been around for a grip doing God knows what, I'm not so confident that the right people will do the right thing. You also have to remember the probably 98% of those kids younger than myself stationed at the Capitol have never seen a Civics class in their lives and regardless of what comradery they've experienced thus far through training etc., they have no skin in the game or potentially no knowledge OF the game.
