Trump made the Fake News REE so hard with this! They said it was insulting and demeaning to the players that they weren't served a "proper" dinner at the WH. They left out the parts where this was during the shutdown, Trump paid for all of it out of his own pocket while not accepting a federal paycheck and lastly, the players woofed that shit down like it was going out of style. Myself and I think most of you thought this to be quite the endearing moment.
Sort of a perfect microcosm of the Donald Trump, the people's President.
