Those troops are there because there's a mass propaganda movement right now to portray Trump and MAGA as violent and dangerous. Also Congress was terrified on the 6th and compared it to 9/11. Right now they are already pushing through legislation such as making any MAGA or Trump rally a "terrorist activity". Just like 9/11 it will be used as an excuse to strip our rights and grow the power of the deep state.
