She (Swanson) had other commitments when Joss Whedon was casting for the TV series of Buffy. Personally, I like (make that love) SMG and if they had to replace Kristy, Sarah was a good choice. To this day, I have no idea what SMG's politics are and I like it that way. Sarah didn't get great roles but at the same time there are no casting couch scandals surrounding her.

There are a whole lot of "shut up and dance, monkey" people out there who should have left well enough alone. FUCK! Now I find out that John Fogerty is full-on TDS moonbat. Crap, why can't they just keep it to themselves.

Used to love reading Josh Wheaton's blog and now I avoid it like the plague afraid of what I'm going to find. He's maybe the best dialogue writer of our generation. Some of his work like Firefly transcends the human condition. He made a sequel to a canceled TV series and it was a success! That's on the list of things that just never happen. For those of us that fought at Serenity Valley, even though it may have had a different name. Josh got that right. So I'm inclined to forgive some of his current nonsense.
