What a cool pic! I live in Long Beach and it's a trip to see that hill in the background without all of the houses and refineries.
is that San Pedro or Catalina? I visited someone who lived way up on San Pedro, it is pretty fucking cool neighborhood.
That's Pedro and the Palos Verdes areas. I work on that hill and it's almost completely covered now with buildings.

The hill is filled with Houses not buildings the houses are worth about 1.5 to about 3 million for a regular 3bd. They have mansions worth well over 10 million dollars on the hill as well. Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, and Portuguese bend. Trump actually has a nice 18 hole there as well. The bottom by the port is San Pedro where the ghetto meets the sea. Syringes on the ground and shit on the sidewalk welcome to California.

I was watching a movie set in the 50s the other day, and I thought yeah I know it was a bad time for black people then yada yada yada, but for the white people in the movie life looked pretty good. Better than today in many ways.
