My school is making the entire student body watch a live stream of the inauguration via Zoom on the 20th. I hope to God it hits the fan on live television. I'll be recording my screen just in case it does to document all these triggered faculty members.
Side Note: When Trump was inaugurated I put the ceremony up on our common area TV's. I had students and faculty in my face telling me to turn it off. I refused, but now we must all watch together from the comfort of our homes? "C'mon man" -Joe Biden
Side Note 2: I'll be resigning from this school this year. I can't deal with the indoctrination any longer. I'd stay and fight, but it's a losing battle in NYC until it gets its act together. Wish me luck in finding a new path.

There's a small, quiet group of teachers that talk on the side about all this BS. We just laugh at everyone else but we still don't have the numbers to seriously be upfront about our perception. I've dropped a few pills here and there , but those have been scooped up by our principal and thrown as far as possible. No political minority voices allowed, just "racial minorities". Funny thing though... whites are a minority in our school and no one asks for their voice. Just the "minority" POC. How does that work?

I’m teaching in Richmond. It’s probably not NYC levels of depravity, but enough for me to think about a switch in 3-5years.
Only about 25% believe in keeping our views out of the classroom and staying professional. The rest talk in vague terms about wanting to push social justice.

Another teacher here. I'm considering sticking it out a bit longer and making small stands when I can. When they tell me to teach propaganda, I teach the Bill of Rights instead. Someday this might get me fired, but the day I get fired will be the proudest day of my life.
