The release of the documents will reveal certain capabilities of US intelligence that they wanted to keep hidden if at all possible. So Trump didn't release them until the last possible moment.
I have read through all most all of them and so far I find that a stretch.
Trump is saving them as evidence for the Q fantasy that he can somehow arrest them all.
He's just exposing them to make it harder for them to manage the country out of spite.
