Because NAFTA he said, would be used by the evil global commie-kin to then finish (bad guy) Kissenger's Open (Commie) China policy, especially since the U.S.S.R. had "fallen"(apart); and NAFTA & OPEN CChina = ship U.S. jobs, tech, money to build up the global Communist's a new improved H.Q. in Bejing/Peking with x4 more people and deep warm water ports, and "natural barriers" (if count CChinas occupatied territories eg Tibet = the Hymalayas, Siberia/Mongolia, Coastline) better than the USSR never had. And that the greedy commies would take-over all the entrepot cities near them.
And, overall that this was very bad, especially bc it would fuel the growth of marxism in the USA by those who were willing to sell-out to make more money by shipping jobs/factories/tech aka "PRODUCTIVITY" out of the USA (and eventually) to CChina (ie marxists value controlling and improving the "means of production" more than any value including life, GOD, health, liberty, property, family, environment, morality, etc.) And the "glue" that holds it all together besides NAFTA/WTO is allowing the Commie Central Bank to be in the Bretton-Woods System and tied/pricefixed into the US Dollar with their currency price-fixing.
He said the "proper course of American action" was to immediately reject the OPEN CHINA policies of Kissenger's & Brzezinski's and other geopolitical strategists who weren't/aren't playing for Team USA to win (they play the failed "Great Game" of the 1800's, the balance of power, which is designed to bleed everyone dry with endless conflict, thus the bankers win (the ol' all wars are bankers wars or you at least need the equivalent to wage war.)
Since most of what my father said, revolved around trade deals and negotiations; AND putting AMERICAN interests FIRST as it should be; meant Mr. Art of the Deal who had finished up most of the 1980's, with putting America/Americans first and taking a tough stand with trade w/ Japan (and understood the underpinning trade issues were also about technology & central-banking/currency valuations), was DJT.
As for the My Pillow guy, that my father didn't say/know exactly that, but did say that other leading American business(men/women) who produce (real things) would be required to help save the USA from the marxism which was coming in spades in the future, in order to fight the stolen "means of production" of commies, who don't play by the rules (aka cheating commies; slave labor; counter-feit products/materials; etc.) Just as past eras had American manufacturing business tycoons and the honest (big) American business(men)/deal-makers, usually lead the charge against commies. (real manufacturing, not the lenders-manufacturing--a biz model of debt/money and the manufacturing is secondary, like real estate industry where the lending is the real profit and market-force driver, not the price of 2x4's or housing-demand.)
Same goes for the "brink of war and collapse" bc of Gates & China; that was clear by the mid/late '90's; and can do simple graphs of things like "Steel production"; shipyards/ship construction, civilian and NAVY sizes; FAB plants; Debt; college students (like what % in the USA are CCP nationals); auto production; data traffic (phone/net); monetary flows; foreign reserves; food production; IPOs; Hollywood scorecard (of violations of the old' anti-commie rules if still in effect); and repeals on morality laws/decency laws; etc. And it was all 100% accurate.
