The region had been part of Germany since 1795. Between 1919 and 1938 the area was a complete shitshow in terms of border disputes and takeovers (including some perpetrated by the newly independent Poland again other states).

USSR and Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and split it. Yet the British and French only declared war on Germany. And after World War II USSR got to keep the entire thing despite having absolutely zero historical claim to it. Funny how that works.

And I'm not even going to comment on the "genocide". I can't believe people here unironically call themselves redpilled while still falling for this soviet propaganda.

what the actual fuck hahaha. not only are you calling concentration camps soviet propaganda, you are also saying that Germany had the rights to Poland because they had the lands for 100 years? so we are just going to throw away the fact that this same land was... i don't know... polish for the other 1000 years? and just because the country was a shitshow for the 20 years (i wonder why a newly formed country which land was occupied for 100 years had problems establishing itself once again...) they had the rights to do what they did?

just because the USSR got a pass on horrible things they did does not relieve Germany of their crimes, both countries commited atrocities and should be shamed for them, but please let's not start spouting nonsense

I'm not debating the Independence of Poland. I'm explaining why Germany felt they had a claim to it. And the point is moot since we helped the USSR take the entire thing along with 3/4 of Europe. Circle back to my original comment if you still don't understand.

Once again I'm not commenting on muh six gorillion. This place will ban such discussion (I wonder why?). And many countries will jail you for it. Like all super true and documented historical events.

well, i like to be educated, so if you have any links disproving the genocide, i would gladly read them at the least and form my own opinion.
