The skyline of New York in the game, which you can see with the conversation with the dude in the video, doesn't have them. They blame it on terrorists. (In truth, the developers couldn't get the skyline to look right when it repeated on the X axis and planned on putting them in later as a single graphic but forgot).
This game actually predicted 9/11 before it happened.
One of the best games of all time. Us old ass pedes thought the evolution of games was going to be lit after this came out.
Heh, little did we know.... SJWs took over and now we get tranny propaganda in the game that should have been the long awaited massive red pill called Cyberpunk.
They sold out to get Keanu Reeves and gave a shitty remake of Neuromancer
Really? I felt the sjw message in 2077 was pleasantly lacking. I honestly was expecting it to be filled with it but I see more based imagery than lefty shit. It's more like they literally threw in a few sjw parts to appease the few of them that might buy the game. Then again I'm playing it on the xbone so the whole game is basically a beautiful disaster.
I never got SJW out of it, the tranny thing was well within the lore of the game, it was predicted and well written about in the original material so that was not at all a bother, I made a hot chick with huge tits, it was great.
I was disappointed in the lack of good red pill drops that should have come directly from the source material, and of course all the promises over the years that never came to fruit.
The game on the PC is fucking gorgeous, if you have a rig that can run it to its maximum potential sometimes you just stop and look around.
Like I said I was overly harsh, in my first comment. But it could have been something awesome instead of just plain, another pretty FPS RPG with a storyline that really should have been credited to William Gibson instead of Mike Pondsmith. Yes they were Mikes characters, but they were literally rip offs of Case and wintermute from Neuromancer.
Perhaps I was slightly harsh, its not 'shitty' perse, the graphics are amazing, and it is pretty immersive, but it is a rip off of pretty much the entire plot of Neuromancer, it's cool in the aspect that if you are a fan of the book, you kinda get to play it out.
But considering the source material accurately predicted many of the things that are going on right now 30+ years ago, with meme worthy edgyness, I expected at least Deux Ex level pill drops, and sadly there is none of that.
I played through it once, enjoyed it, wont visit it again.
This was in the comments, and really should get the spot light. Bleach's Famous Villain did have his say on this:
How Deus Ex lines up with our own timeline:
0:15 - What these statistics are in our world today it's corporations now make up 35% of Federal Taxes. And about 10.1% of Americans are self-employed according to the Bureau of Labour Statistics in 2015.
1:17 - RX-84 is a real thing, but it's actually a plan for internment camps (similar to the ones used in WWII) in case of martial law.
I wonder if they listened to infowars before they made it, it reminds me of what Alex has said. Off topic I enjoyed the attention to detail in the game, you could even fall off a building and die.
Either We have developed an AI quantum computing or time travel has been discovered. Something so strange is going on here. This is not just Game theory anymore
Love this game - also love how I've heard at least two tracks from it's OST used on Infowars video montages, they know the score, literally.
I’ve always liked the music they use on infowars clips and wondered where they got it from... haha thanks
This game was made before the twin towers fell.

The whole series has predicted multiple things. I wrote a paper on it once because it was Simpsons level creepy.
This is neat, what game is this?

CP is really that bad? Lame...

Deus Ex is one of the most redpilled games of all time.
was that business woman at 1:58 bruce jenner lmao
Thing that amazes me is I had this game and it ran sweet on a 600hz Celeron, without any dedicated graphics card.
I wonder if they listened to infowars before they made it, it reminds me of what Alex has said. Off topic I enjoyed the attention to detail in the game, you could even fall off a building and die.
If a game like this was released today it would get panned by the liberal games media.
Check out, Soma, MGS2, Alan Wake some of the most deepest thought-provoking video games ever made.
