Yeah ... no that is the cartoon of libertarianism pushed by conservatives (libertarians are just libertine conservatives)

Subjective morality ... that’s the very definition of progressivism ... Derrida couldn’t said better

Conservatives and libertarians (think Jefferson) both want a Christian nation ... however the split is on what should be left to the individual and what to the state

A good example is prostitution ... laws against it have never eliminated it ... in fact it might make it worst ... libertarians will say, if you want morality then you have to fight the temptation as a individual ... while the conservative says you have to fight temptation as a state ...

Libertarians acknowledge free will as the most important bulwark against sin

Conservative acknowledge that even free will needs a booster by a busybody state
