Our generation has some bad ass mother fuckers. Gen Z has way to much soy but they have some very promising folks too.
I'm a NAVY man myself. Born, bred, water fed. Out of 5 of us growing up 4 went navy. 5th generation navy too.
My stepdaughter told me last week she wants to join the Navy. My nephew just joined the marines. They're gonna have some hard days to get through but they'll be better for it. We all will. They just grow up so fast. I couldn't be more proud.
You realize gen z was born before 1980 right? Soy? We ate pizza and rode our bikes until the lights came on outside. Our parents had no idea where we were for most of the day and didn’t care! No cell phones, no decent computers till we were in our 20’s. Then dial up. Watching the world go from corded phones to cell phones to smart phones. We survived most of our lives without tech and we can do it again. Soy, that didn’t become a thing till 2010 and by that time we were in our late 30’s early 40’s and damn stuck in our ways.
Thank you for your service though. Army brat here.
