This is what I am noticing for the Democrats and the Left as well. They too believe with all their hearts they are morally right and totally justified..... We both can’t be right.
The bottom line is a big part of the difference. We want to be left alone and to do what we choose. The left wants to cram their "help" down on people. The other part of that is the founding fathers believed in God whether you do or not and believed our rights were given to us by God not by the government. Anyone attacking those rights can not be on the side of good, especially if that same side is fine with dismembering babies.
Suppression of personal liberty and thought is fundamentally evil. Regardless of how the left play their mental gymnastics to frame it as morally justified. Any group that believes that enslaving others is superior morally is obviously mentally damaged beyond repair.
It comes down to the divide on what we want. I want to enjoy the back half of my life. I want to hunt and fish with my kids. I want my kids to be educated without being made to feel guilty about the color of their skin. I want them to understand life isn't about making money or begging for a handout. I don't want a war but I will damn sure fight one for my children and grandchildren's future. I would die a thousand times over to assure their freedom.
