Sometimes people struggle to describe something they don’t understand. I believe in demons, don’t you? If you believe the Bible, then it’s logical to believe that demons and demonic possession it’s likely still a thing.
For non-Christian, I think a lizard person might make sense as a way to describe the demonic. Anyways, that’s what I think people mean when they say lizard people.
